Permissions requested
Team.ReadBasic.All: list the teams and channels you can choose from.ChannelMessage.Read.All: read channel messages.offline_access: stay connected without asking you to sign in again.
Before you start
- Reading channel messages needs consent from a Microsoft 365 administrator in most organizations. If you see a message asking for admin approval, send the request to your IT administrator.
- Teams is connected once for the workspace, by an admin.
Connect Teams (workspace admin)
- Open Workspace Settings → Sources.
- Under Communication, find Microsoft Teams and click Connect Teams.
- Sign in with a Microsoft account and approve the permissions (or request admin approval).
- You return to Claro Historia and the card shows Connected.

Add Teams channels to a project
- Open the project and go to Project Settings → Teams.
- Click + Browse & Add Channel and select a channel to link it.
- Messages sync with the next run, or click Sync in Project Settings → Sync.

Anything synced into a project can be seen by every member of your workspace, because every member can open every project. That includes people who cannot open the original file or message in the source tool. Only link sources you are comfortable sharing with your whole workspace.
Disconnect
- For a project: click Remove next to a channel in Project Settings → Teams.
- For the workspace: in Workspace Settings → Sources, click Disconnect on the Teams card.
Disconnecting stops syncing and removes Claro Historia’s access immediately. To have content that was already synced removed as well, email support@clarohistoria.com. See Data and security for how long data is kept.
