Claro Historia

Concepts

The handful of terms used across Claro Historia.

Workspace

Your company’s space, at its own address such as acme.clarohistoria.com. It holds your members, projects, dashboards and connected tools. Everyone in a workspace is an Admin or a Member. Admins connect tools and manage people; members create projects and use the chat.

Project

A unit of work: a product, a team, a customer engagement or a long-running initiative. A project is where you link sources and ask questions. Everyone in the workspace can open a project.

Sources

The places a project reads from: GitHub repositories, Jira projects, Confluence spaces, Slack channels, Drive folders and so on. A tool is connected once for the workspace (or per person for Drive and OneDrive); each project then links the specific repository, channel or folder it needs. See Getting started.

Milestones and events

Milestones are planned work with a status (Pending, In Progress, Complete), a due date and an owner. Events are things that happened: hires, departures, reorganizations, technical changes, risks and notes. Open risks show as warnings on project and dashboard cards. Both are filled in from your sources, and you can add or edit them yourself.

Dashboards

A dashboard groups related projects for a combined view of progress, overdue work and risks. A project can appear on several dashboards.

Project Intelligence (the chat)

Ask a question in plain language. Claro Historia assembles the relevant content from the project’s sources and answers using an AI model, and shows which sources the answer came from. More specific questions get better answers, and as with any AI, important details are worth checking against the cited source.

Sync

Reading the linked sources and updating the project. Syncs run automatically on a regular schedule, and you can start one yourself at any time. See Projects, syncing and chat.
