Jira
Epics and issues from the Jira projects you choose, shown as milestones and events.
What Claro Historia reads
- Epics
- Issues
Access is read-only. Claro Historia does not create, change or delete anything in Jira.
Permissions requested
- Read Jira work (
read:jira-work): read issues and projects. - Offline access (
offline_access): stay connected without asking you to sign in again.
Before you start
- Jira is connected once for the workspace, by an admin, using an Atlassian account. Claro Historia can only read what that account can already see in Jira.
- Confluence is a separate connection, so teams without Jira can use Confluence alone, and the other way round.
Connect Jira (workspace admin)
- Open Workspace Settings → Sources.
- Under Project Management, find Jira and click Connect via Atlassian.
- On Atlassian’s page, choose the Jira site and click Accept.
- You return to Claro Historia and the card shows Connected.

Link a Jira project to a project
- Open the project and go to Project Settings → Jira.
- Enter the Jira project key (the short uppercase code next to the project name, for example
MYAPP), or click Browse… and pick the project. - Save. Epics and issues sync with the next run, or click Sync in Project Settings → Sync.

Anything synced into a project can be seen by every member of your workspace, because every member can open every project. That includes people who cannot open the original file or message in the source tool. Only link sources you are comfortable sharing with your whole workspace.
Disconnect
- For a project: clear the project key in Project Settings → Jira.
- For the workspace: in Workspace Settings → Sources, click Disconnect on the Jira card. This revokes the access token with Atlassian and removes it from Claro Historia. You can also remove the app in your Atlassian account’s connected apps.
Disconnecting stops syncing and removes Claro Historia’s access immediately. To have content that was already synced removed as well, email support@clarohistoria.com. See Data and security for how long data is kept.
